Antony Grice (Plumbing and Heating) Limited was established in 1985 by Tony Grice in response to clients asking him to provide services when several key providers ceased trading. Tony spent the next 35 years building up a successful business based on excellent technical knowledge, innovative solutions and a reputation for reliability.
In 2019 Tony, approaching retirement, sought a buyer that would secure the long-term future of the company and its employees while retaining its core ethos. Tim Hancock acquired the company in October 2019, and after a five-month transition period Tony finally retired in March 2020.
Tim Hancock has considerable experience in acquiring and running companies and divisions of larger organisations across the facilities and project sectors. His expertise was gained through working for leading players such as Serco plc, Building and Property Group (now Interserve), Atkins, Alfred McAlpine Business Services and Connaught plc. Tim’s ability to successfully grow organisations is based on maximising the potential of his teams. Antony Grice Ltd has effectively entered its next stage of development as Tim seeks to invest in its infrastructure and staff to ensure sustainable growth.
